What are examples of good community contests that may attract users to stay at the board, name a few examples of contests you prefer and don't mind joining.
I want to have a overall look on which contests the users prefer the most, is it design contests, programming contests, seo contests, referral contests, posting contests etc..?
I think there's lots of contests you may run on a community -- but there are only a few of them that actually work, and keep the community active after the contest, mainly due to heavy decrease on the forum content & I think contests attract people for a limited time, but what you really have to offer is something that is unique and something users don't see everyday.
