Hello all! I have been visiting the forum on and off for awhile and decided to become a member. I am a newbie and want to get started on the right track. When starting out as an affiliate do you need to get an EIN number
and if so do you need to have a DBA (Doing Business As)? freinhm

Thanks for starting off with a great question!

Nope you don't need a business identity. Most affiliate start with their personal name and socital security number. Down the road you may decide you want to INC or something, but I would not worry about that until after you start making enough that you need to explore tax and liability options.
