Apple former CEO saved the company from being smashed and rebuilt it in the late 90s when he came back to run it and pulled a rabbit out of his hat and MP3 players from the pocket of his pants. He brought the world the iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad, and music store iTunes and helped us say goodbye to the floppy drives and CD-ROM drives in mobile computers. However, Mr. Jobs took some occasional flops and products that did not survive the test of time, or have survived at all.

That is a very broad statement. Steve didn't undertake all the creation, marketing and testing. He is only the front of house.

Why not? He was a real person who can make mistakes. I think there is not a single person who has never done a mistake.

sometimes not the result is the most important, but the attempt. and he was a very ingenious and courageous business man.

He made one of his biggest mistakes when his cancer was first diagnosed. He chose to ignore medical advice and treat his cancer with alternative medicine. Had he followed his doctors' advice, he would very likely be alive today.
