Empyre Media, a leading CPA Affiliate Network, is currently seeking to hire a Business Development Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manages and assists in the analyzing, planning, research, and development of Empyre?s objectives and strategic plans in order to achieve business opportunities, growth, and financial profitability.
Prospecting/Client Acquisition
? Analyze markets for new business opportunities, generate leads and create new partnerships for the network including, but not limited to; affiliates, advertisers, media buying partners and lead buyers.
? Accurately evaluate potential client?s offerings and the resources needed to bring them into the network (time to market, cost of outsourced services, internal labor and marketing).
? Assist advertiser prospects in understanding the key success factors of a performance-based advertising campaign.
Project Management
? Assume primary lead in the development of network exclusives and new/additional traffic sources.
? Set project milestones and timeline which include action items for key team members and management.
? Negotiate short term and long term contracts, with a focus on exclusivity and Advertiser of Record (AOR) agreements.
? Act as liaison between the client and team members responsible for account maintenance upon deployment.
Business Growth/Analysis
? Define and execute sales strategies that drive Empyre?s growth.
? Responsible for high-level understanding of Empyre?s available and current allocation of resources.
? Report on activities and related results in a manner that helps the team understand the effectiveness of new programs, and grow the business in an optimized fashion.
Minimum Candidate Requirements
? Minimum experience of 4 to 6 years as an affiliate manager for a large affiliate network.
? Experience with the Cake Marketing platform.
? A professional, relationship-focused personality.
? Sales and business development skills, with motivation to meet and exceed monthly revenue goals.
? Excellent time management and organizational skills.
? Solid oral and written communication skills.
? Experience from a home office.
? Proficiency in Internet searches, Microsoft Office applications, basic web design tools (e.g. HTML, graphics programs)
This positions is telecommute. Candidate should have previous work from home experience and have a quiet, full functioning office available.
