I think the problem is other, if you use some providers that provide kind of software limited in size or number of product, that don't mean they own your domain name, they just own them sources codes. So if you use another provider or maybe some open sources store then you can probably transfer your domain name .com to your new provider that host the .biz, you should only have charges of transfer all the hosting company provide this solution.
