Domain name importance

for running offers with facebook traffic, how important is your domain name?

Im just starting out, and thinking about getting a domain name like "thedeal.com" to use as a launch pad to test landing pages and offers.

Do you think its better to have a relevant domain name when running ads on facebook? (are the rules for group posting campaigns different from the paid campaigns?)

Will you brand the name?
With watermarks or text intended for branding, you want; 4-7 char to the left of the dot, or; something memorable or pronounceable (for voice search).
Not easy to find that in a .com with any keywords in the name -- not in logical short order.
Could you use a new gTLD. Eventually name.* will become relevant. I see many *.com sitting on the investment shelf for years now undeveloped.
Unless, you want to pay a lot for an EMD.com (exact match domain) keyword domain at BIN or auction bid.
