I just started converting some of my articles into audio. I put the audio on a page on my blog. Do I need a "special" rss feed to submit my podcast to the podcast sites?

Yes, you should definitely have a special RSS just for your podcasts.

Yes, you need special RSS. If you're using Feed Burner, there definitively were possibilities to make a podcast RSS.
