It appears several CPA networks are cracking down and no longer accepting incentivized traffic. Sources rumble that Hydramedia, Clickbooth, PerfectPayCheck, Netblue and others have recently started pulling their incentive offers.

I strongly suspect the recent Affiliate crackdown by the FTC on Free Offers is at least part of the catalyst, in spite of the fact that affiliates are being told the moves are due to fraud. Of course fraud plays a big part when you are doing freebie offers. Sure glad I don't play in that space! Here are are couple places you can read more.

"Today some very big names in incentive marketing are pulling out, leaving incentive publishers grasping at straws and wondering who is next."

DigitalPoint has a discussion going about it too. CPA sponsors dropping Incentive offers/publishers.

Linda,

Incentivized traffic from publishers or incent type offers (e.g. free ipods)? Those aren't necessarily the same thing.
