What's your thoughts on competing forums, where they take competition too far? An example would be where the forum's owner is over competitive where he or she feels the need to ban their competitors from their forum?

I have seen it happen to others where they have done nothing wrong but they got banned just for owning a competing forum. Running a forum shouldn't be about competition, but about providing a forum for other people to enjoy.

What do you guys think?

It's not so much a question of "Do you agree" as a question of "Have you experienced it a lot". I mean, not believing in forum rivalry is like not believing the sky is blue, or that the earth is round. It exists! The main thing is: Do you find people who ban you because you're their competition immature? My answer to that would be yes!

Forums are for enjoyment and discussion, not competition and power hungry owners. It's pathetic that someone would do that, it really is.
