How to use targeting to get the right audience?

Unlike targeting in social media, our traffic cannot be segmented by interests, personality, or lifestyle. However, in our SSP platform, you will find advanced technical targeting which allows you to accurately choose the right audience. There are several targeting strategies depending on the information that you have about your audience and your goals:

1. When you already have an understanding of your target market and users, you can set the required GEO/State/City and other metrics such as Browser Type, OS, Device. Firstly, set targeting on the broad audience and narrow it later by selecting the best performing settings.
2. Split tests - do them when your goal is to cover the broad audience with different devices. You'll find out which ones bring the best results.
In this case, you make several split tests choosing Ad Format + Device + OS + OS Version. After receiving and analyzing results you narrow the targeting.
3. Spot tests - perform better when you have a clear understanding of the funnel and proven targetings. For example, campaigns on the one OS and a certain browser (or even a certain browser version)

To make quality and high-performing tests, it’s necessary to work on landing pages, pre-landing pages, and creatives. You can make them more suitable for your audience by making research:

- Describe existing buyers/customers/users. Who is already buying a product, what drives them, what was the reason that influenced their decision to buy? You can use this information for your texts and creatives.
