Try ukcheapest. I always use those as they are cheap. Namecheap has good offers now and then - worth a check!

Hello You may want to tell me what type of site you are creating. I have some great keyword short and well targeted .com domain names still available. I am also very good at finding them. It's really hard to do these days but I can find good ones still. 10 Letters max.

If the name exists in the top 3 you say then maybe in a new gTLD that makes sense with the domain name that is to the LEFT of the dot!
I find many good names that speculators have bought and are sitting on that are available in a new gTLD.
If they begin using that name after you develop it in the new gTLD you may be able to take them to arbitration and get that name awarded to you. Branding and YOUR trademark and their use in bad faith do matter in domain law arbitration

The cheapest ones are free ones) You can get those on Freenom. TLDs are: .tk .ml .cf .gq .ga - some African countries...
Use tools like SpamCop or SpamHaus to do this.
.buzz domain are these days very cheap on porkbun site, you can check
