On the radio today, I learnt that two people from Worcestershire were cautioned by Police for "stealing Internet Access" they logged into someone else's Wi Fi broadband and surfed without the owners permission.

Interesting - I guess they were reported to the police by the owner of the Wi Fi.

So... if they have only been cautioned for steeling internet access then if I plug in to BT's cable without paying and the knowledge of BT can I count they will only warn me if they catch me? ;)

While your at it, wire your house up to the street lighting and nick free power

If you get away with it i'll try it :D

I have reported this post to Scotland Yard, they will be watching every move you make Robocop just in case you decide to start nicking power from the grid :)

Emmmm, maybe I'll hold on... (Regards for Scotland Yard... and Interpol, FBI, CIA, ex-KGB and others I really don't want to know...) ;P

Emmmm, maybe I'll hold on

Looks like no free lecky for us then :(

I have my phone supplied by British Gas, last night the phone rang, i answered it with a cigarette in my mouth and the house exploded.
