Can you give me any suggestions about internet marketing in foreign countries?

I'm dealing with kinds of novel products in China.Basically, we do market promotion first before producing or purchasing.We did well in our country.But now we want to expand our market to foreign counties, especially english countries.We want to look for partners and sell our products all over the world.We intend to cooperate with our partners in this way, for example:If there's a product appears to you, and it is novel, strange, with big potential market, but it is a little too high in price, then we can cooperate. Let us produce it in China, where the cost is much lower, and you can sell it all over the world. In this way, we would both make money before the market will be full of this products.We want to create more chances like this, but we got problems.The search engine people use most is Baidu in China, but they use GOOGLE most outside China.How should we do to promote our reputation in foreign countries and to be searched by potential customers?Thanks very much!
 
It is all about keyword research! If you produce blue widgets that you want to sell in US/Europe it's quite an easy task: do keyword research, build a website on those keywords, SEO it and watch customers coming and buying your product. :)

but our products tend to be different kinds, do you have any suggestion of keyword optimisation in this case?
 
So you want to optimise for a general niche, am I getting it right? Or you say you have multiple products from multiple domains, like furniture, toys, smartphones etc? :)

I'd think starting an affiliate program would be a good way to sell products virtually anywhere in the world. You'd initially have to spend a bit of money for ads but once people start signing up and promoting your products so they can earn a commission then you won't have to spend any more money promoting your products.

Another way would be to find out where people who might be interested in the products you sell hang out find you way in to those groups, earn their trust and SELL to them.

Reach out to bloggers so they can promote your products. Promise them them a sales commission.
 
Advertise a product that they constantly use. Use an affiliate program and give them things that they need. Also build your affiliate site in their language (obviously) and add many products to it, not just a couple! Make it a good looking website
 
Video Promotions : Like with photo sharing, you can publish/share your product videos, expert opinions, and reviews of your product and make them public in YouTube, Metacafe etc.
 
International marketing can be done by social media site such as facebook, however, facebook is not available in China. You don't even use Google. Create a website and list your product. Remember, primary language of your website should be in English. Research what kind of keywords people outside China are searching for the products you want to sell.Optimize your website.
