Can you differentiate between ‘nofollow’ and ‘dofollow’ link?

Difference in both links is all about allowing crawler to move on next site or not .... giving some backlink advantage or not ...

'Do follow' links are crawled by search engine bots and thus they contribute to website backlink building. 'No follow' links are never crawled by search engine spiders and hence they do not contribute to backlink building. Both types of links are used to build traffic for your website and helps in keyword ranking in search engines.

If you always wonder what does no follow mean then probably here is the answer of it, it’s a link is set as nofollow, it means Google bot won’t crawl the link and won’t pass any link juice.

Dofollow link passes link juice and they definitely help you much, in order to achieve good page rank. As it instructs search engine spiders to follow this link.

When Google crawler, crawl website link and found do follow then some link juice pass from that link to your website. But when the link is no follow then there is link benefits from but it will helpful to drive some traffic to our website.

If the website is do-follow it allow the link to your website once it is crawled. if the website is no-follow you won't get backlink.

No follow:-
A no follow link is a link that doesn’t “point” to another site (no signposts). I think this is where people get confused, as people can still click onto a no follow link and get sent to another site, but in the eyes of the search engines they don’t “point” to anything.

Do Follow:-
Links that “point” to another site are called do follow links. These pass link juice to a page, help to increase its PageRank and raise its profile to the search engines. The more natural do follow links a website/page has, the higher it is likely to rank online.

rel="nofollow" links do not rank your keyword in serp. If there is nothing mention in link then it is dofollow link and will rank your your keyword in serp.

No follow tag to help to prevent spamming kind of activity. Most sites now automatically add a no follow tag to any links that are posted in the comments. This greatly helps to reduce people spamming, though you will still get some people trying it.

A dofollow link will pass the SEO strength, or "PageRank" of the page to the site that it links to. A nofollow link, in theory, will not do this. That's the main difference between the two.

It is a type of link which has a potential to improve the ranking and the credibility of your website in Google. By default every link is dofollow, link which does not contain Rel=”Nofollow” Attribute is dofollow and these are considered to be the most powerful links for any websites
