Can A Search Engine Actually Detect Marketing Software??

Many SEO experts advise not to use software for marketing purposes. I have used free software to post social booking links with limited success. Paid subscriptions seem to work better. I was wondering if quality of software makes a difference?

Or is it just that the search engine takes time to latch on before clamping on the process. I reckon that's the case. Anyone with detailed info on how the system works?

They may not be able to detect the software but they might detect the fact that multiple social bookmarking links have been made which all lead back to content that has had very little traffic. That could indicate to a search engine that it is false bookmarking not organic, and for that reason a big search engine such as Google might penalize the site where all those bookmarks are leading.

Search engines are one of those big code monsters that are very intelligent but still very gamable. You don't need software in order to direct traffic in ways that you want it directed when you have the proper content working with other SEO strategies. The thing is that search engines might not know every piece of marketing software there is, but given a long enough time, this will almost always change to where your investment will get squashed by the Search Engine company figuring out your strategy or software and then stopping it.

Its better to have knowledge and a strategy that involves your research than to trust a software.

I agree, but how do I follow a system that does not change in time and does not unduly affect my ranking developed over a period of time following white hat techniques. There is one school of thought that believes volume matters. For example, if I get 10% results with automation, I am successful. It saves me time, and any changes that take place in the search engine algorithm does not bother me too much. I just try again.

some of them can .. every marketing software related to web apps . It also doing the same web way marketing like through social medias . link building ... you can also find link building tools on the internet without any softwares

Can you be more elaborate? Online link builders will use software. The only positive I see out of it is the search engine cannot link it to my IP address. However, I do not get the benefit of backlinking, if that was the case.

My question is how do the search engines work to recognize the software? If it accepts certain techniques, I would like to use automation to ease my work and save time.

They could recognize it by looking for patterns and similarities in the language of your posts/emails/etc... In other words, if your SEO software has some template letters or messages that it uses to post comments on other people's forums, it would be easy to recognize that someone was just using that software.

When people were using cloaking techniques on their site, they would serve a different page to the Google bots than they would to a real user, so Google started visiting sites with unknown IP addresses to catch that.
