Button Event Pixel Fire

Hey guys

I was wondering if anyone knows how make an event pixel fire on a button click?

Apologies for the noob question, but I'm looking for the quickest and most efficient way to do this. I've searched Google and most of it seems pretty technical, just putting my feelers out here to see if there is perhaps a simpler method.

I'm running Wordpress and using Oxygen to build my landing pages.

Let me know if anyone has found the easiest solution to this common problem us affiliates face!

you mean when any affiliate fill your form or action then fire a pixel on your affiliates ?

You could do that with an AJAX script with PHP maybe.
In WordPress you may want to look for some plugin available. onclick event
onclick Event

On a form POST (submit), the script could be tweaked (possibility).

you could fire an image this way in the DOM
e.g.; a pixel from a cross-domain source

Thanks for the reply Awesomesauce. I have gotten that answer twice now, and would like to look into it further.
Do you have link to a resource that shows some details of the process perhaps?

I also got a reply from Tim Burd in the Facebook Ad Buyers group to use Javascripts onClick event, ever heard of that method before?
