Here is html code to get your text blinked :
Code:
<blink> your text here </blink>

The question is, do you still use blinking text? or blinking text is just a crap?

Note : blinking text can't be shown on some browser

It is very funny. I have built many websites but have never heard about the blink tags. I checked it and now i know the reason why it was not important to learn.:yahoo:

I think it was a web 0.02 thing and popular in the age of Netscape 2. I used to think it was cool and used in on my first web page - there weren't many options.

Netscape tab, not integrated by IE ever I don't believe. However there is a way to do it in CSS using the following command:-

Code:
text-decoration: blink;

quite why you'd want to do that I have no idea, as Blinking text is level with animated email and under construction signs as usefulness on the internet.

same like me here. At first, i though blinking text is cool.
But now, it's annoying to see blinking text.
Btw, IE can't show blinking text, but Firefox can.

I once heard about it but never tried it out. It's just a crap as anything.

It make the online users frustrated..

Marquee tag is one more feature which is seen, but, it creates markup error!!

There's 2 effects I find really annoying, blink and marquee. The blink tag was a netscape concoction, and the marquee tag was down to microsoft.
