Hi, I am looking for backlinks for my site. Can someone tell me please where this can be properly posted.

Quick introduction is in order here. Im an ex-patriot living in Europe now for about 15 years. I have been working most of my life as an Export manager for companies who manufacture certain machines until I took the plunge into becoming independant. I found my way here through google and Im looking for help in getting quality relevant backlinks for our site.
