Backlinks on social media and dofollow

Hey, new to affiliate fix. I've been watching jay wessmans vids and I think he's pretty good, really seems to know his stuff.

Watched his stuff about posting to social networks, creating friends, followers etc to get better results from backlinks. However I'm now hearing about 'do follow'. My question is is are these sites dofollow and if they're not are they worth following?

I read somewhere that natural traffic is all you should look for when posting to social networks. Actually we don't care much whether it's a do-follow link or not, we just need natural visitors from there.

No, Social Links are mostly nofollow.

Yes, to boost traffic and building fans.
