The average American spends more time using media such as TV and the internet than sleeping, a study has found.

US researchers found that Americans spend nine hours a day watching TV, using the web or talking on a mobile.

apparently the majority of americans do not have passports as they hardly never travel outside of the USA. another useless fact... My brain is full of them

What the report fails to mention is the FACT most Americans are using the Internet and Cell Phones at work, and then come home, have dinner, watch a sporting event, news, etc., put the kids to bed and go to sleep.

It's really nothing unusual.
