I've written my 1st blog on my Freewebs site, and I'd like to know exactly what's proper about publicizing it. Here's where it says I can:

Some examples of places to link back to your site:

    1. eBay listings and posts on Cragslist
    2. Profiles on MySpace, Xanga, Facebook, Friendster, Orkut, etc.
    3. Posts to blogs and photo sites (e.g. Blogger, LiveJournal, Flickr)
    4. Posts and replies on discussion forums

With #4 I'm just concerned that I'll violate the terms at this forum if I do that. Can someone advise?

    Thanks,
    KC ;)

King Conga, with 5 Star you may link to it in your signature if you follow the signature rules:
Generally speaking, you should NOT link to it in your posts or replies.

    Hi KC,

Larry is right. Most forums including this one are fine with a link in your sig. Most frown on and some will ban you for posting about your site within discussion threads. Note: some forums use no follow tags on links so you don't get any backlink benefits.
