This post was pre-approved by Linda.

Need 15 affiliates to test our new revenue generating local shopping api (free for a year). Please assist us so we can fix any bugs before launch.

Here is the link to check it out. http://commissionlocal.com/

Our local shopping API solution for affiliates is similar to datafeed - import tools/services with a local twist .

Local shopping search engine helps shoppers locate in-stock products from local stores with real-time pricing and availability check using zip code or automatically using Geo IP. Affiliates can integrate a revenue generating local shopping search engine .

Get in touch through the contact us section of our site if interested.

Thank you CommissionLocal Team

Hi all,

I've been talking with the founder of CommissionLocal in detail and evaluating this very cool Local shopping app for quite some time. I'm VERY impressed and assume most affiliates know that "local" online marketing is super hot right now. However I don't know any successful local affiliate programs besides Groupon. So I see this as a rare opportunity to get in the local game AND get in on the ground floor with a company that I think is going places!

So even though we don't normally allow beta tester posts like this, I personally approved it and hope any affiliates with an interest in local will jump on board.

I'll probably share more info later, but just had double oral surgery and am not up to posting much right now.

Thanks so much Linda, you have been very supportive . Just wanted to add - if any affiliates are interested in becoming beta testers but are shy about entering their credit card info, just shoot me an email at the contact us section with your info and I will set up an account for you .

website

could a facebook like page work as a website for this? Or do you need to buy a domain name and hosting?

I found this thread and wanted to take a look at the site ... since it seems, only from what was written here, that there was some effort place into the site.
However when pressing the link I got "The connection has timed out". Is this only my problem?
