Affiliate marketing would very much suit your sites subject. There are a wide number of UK networks, although almost all charge very high set-up fees, and then a monthly minimum fee AND an override % on all commissions.
If you choose the right network you will be able to more than offest your monthyl commissions with the revenue the programme generates.
I firmly believe that set-up fees of £1,000s are simply unnecessary in the modern market and that a network should earn their % and that is ALL.

What are you paying to have set up? Or, are you buying a franchise of some sort -- inside information.
If the deal is not competitive they would be out of business I guess ...
