Affiliate Beginner Question

Afternoon All,

Hoping someone might be able to give me some advice, I am looking to develop a new website and need some advice on the best way I should do this due to SEO issues like duplicated content using the supplier XML feed etc.

I want to make a small bespoke clothing website stocking brands (who offer affiliate packages) now is it better that I just build the site and then code each product button to use my affiliate code and sends the user back to that supplier to purchase?

Any advice would be really appreciated
