About "lead caps"

Thanks for all the clarity! The wiki pretty much cleared up almost all of my confusions or misunderstandings. I do, however, have a question that I didn't see addressed. I've noticed when looking at specific offer descriptions inside the networks that some of the offers have "lead caps". What is a lead cap? Why are they "capped"? Should that be a consideration when deciding whether to apply to run that particular offer? Does a "cap" affect the ability to produce positive ROI? Not clear on this point.

Lead caps are like budgets for advertisers

example Candy crush lead cap 200

for candy crush to stay on budget for the day they set a max amount of "leads"

Cap Does Not affect Roi (well mostly)

if you spend more then you make /make more then u spend will give you a negative or positive ROI

i say mostly because

if an offer hits the cap it will just redirect to a different offer , depending on the payout of that offer and the cost of your traffic it can affect your roi if your spending more then the offer is worth or if the offer that is redirected is not converting for you

hope this helps
