Lets keep this basic, to win at the marketing game, you need to keep in people's heads all the time. At the same time you must not just promote, but test those promotional methods and monitor it's performance - FOR EVERY MARKETING METHOD USED!


....on with the tips!


1. Buy little adverts to test clickthrough responses. Use Google Adwords for this, its cheap and user friendly, create 3 adverts, and monitor each one, simply keep the best performing one and delete the others. Then repeat the process until you have 20 good performing ads, this will give you an emergency advert promoter safety net, for when you run out of links & traffic ideas, bcos mark my words - you WILL!


2. Invent a free service, then offer it as part of a link swap. This will make it easier to get links by providing an incentive for linking sites. Better make sure you give something of value!
 
3rd Tip - Very Important

  • Make all advertising a Call to Action, this means the advert must sell or get someone to do something. This could be a purchase or to clickthrough to something or download a file etc etc.
If a visitor arrives but does nothing, then ask yourself why they bothered visiting...... Why didn't they contact you or buy something.

Get them to do something.
 
3rd one is the most essential point. we must have to sell our services.

So, to do that you must sell the Benefits. This is difficult if a site is just selling links, as a link is a pretty uninteresting thing, and people can get links anywhere, so why should they buy from you! Your service must stand out.

Its no good saying "We are the best" or "Increase ranking in the search engines" - this wont work! If websites dont do sales correctly, its all over for them, and Im not lying to you, your sunk without sales copy. You dont need a ton of it, but some pointing out key benefit/s eg: what is different about the offering compared to the next website using the same stupid idea, and thats why its tough and bad idea to copy. You copy and you wont stand out.

Easy when you are totally different, not a breeze, but much easier in terms of making/doing sales. BTW, using SEO, isnt different!
