Hi Linda
I saw your post and it reminded me of the list that I had on one of my sites.
I use submission services but this list is handy for anyone who is doing it manually.
Here's a neat tool I have been using for ages to match my website colors, text etc.
I especially found this useful in blending my adsense ads to match the colors on my site. This helps increase CTR:
ColorPicker
Did I say it was free too?:D
Best regards,

I started off marketing around 9 years ago. I hadn't a clue what i was doing when i first started. I have come on just a little since then.
The first program i ever promoted was Smallbizffa and I got $8 for every free member that upgraded. My first clickbank check had me hooked:D

How do I set a website up? Bog or regular website?
How do I get traffic? How does affiliate marketing work? Should I build an email list?
These are just a few that come to mind. The most important one and most frequent from my list is how to get traffic.
I personally use two article submission services - SubmitYourArticle and ArticleMarketer. I submit the same article one week apart to the two databases.

It's becoming a joke how people in the IM world will just pass on crap IF it has a high conversion rate.
I don't know how many of them still have email lists if they continue to peddal questionable products.
I unsibscribed to many of the so called Gurus a while ago, so I haven't seen...
I don't have the luxury of a one click install at my host but I've installed so many now it only takes a few minutes.
I use some great plugins that really help with my seo.
Try to make a blog psot at least once per day. Write the stuff yourself, no duplicate content.
I try to make each blog post at least 300 words.
Research your keywords and make sure to put keywords in the title and in your blog post. Do not overdo it.
Try targeting the longer keyword...
Thanks guys for your warm welcome.
Linda I have done everything in the book in terms of marketing and persistently stick to a select few daily, ie article marketing, blogging, posting at forums. I don't like paying for my traffic but have good experience with Google adwords and have used...

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
