    I'm currently following 753 people on that account. I've used a bunch of methods like organizing forum contests, exchanging retweets, promoting my account on Yahoo! Answers and forums. One thing I never did is following thousands of people hoping they'll follow back.

    I actually have 2 personal Facebook accounts that I barely ever use. One is for my family and friends, and one is only for online friends, I don't really like mixing the 2.

    Not much time, half an hour at most. I'm honestly not a fan of social networks like Twitter or Facebook. I would rather spend time on forums.

    24000 on my main account, 3400 on my spare account (thats the one I use to promote my Yahoo Answers services). All are real followers acquired naturally.

    Its much easier to build on audience on Twitter. On Facebook, people tend to be overly careful when its about adding new people or Liking new pages. On Twitter, the users tend to follow most accounts that interests them.

    back then I didn't have a Paypal. Not by choice though, Paypal doesn't allow accounts from my country to receive money. So Western Union was my only option for my first payment. Then I used my aunt's account, and finally got my own using the back door :P

    Reading a the replise I guess I should say that I work part-time since I only work about 15hrs a week. Its still enough since I usually make at least twice what the local average salary is ($300).

    Most of us probably get paid online through methods like paypal, payoneer, etc, which makes it easy to end up buying stuff online. I personally do it a lot, especially buying tablets to sell them locally for twice their price :P

    They sell material that you can easily get for free with a couple of Google searches. A few years back I was selling a "Build Your Klout Account Faster". While the information I provided was was legit, it was also available for free on the Internet.

    It was 5 years ago. And yeah, it may not seem like much now, but back then it was a lot to me. My mom was worried I would get scammed till I went to Western Union and picked up the money :D

    Dual Accounts

    I have seen may forum owners that use 2 accounts on their forum. One simply acting as the admin and posting updates or answering suggestions/questions, while the other was more like a member of the community. I don't think there's anything wrong if its done that way.
