OK, that makes sense.
Going by your example, it looks like it's OK to go with something untargeted. So, using the untargeted keyword "home depot" would be fine for the "Home Depot Gift Card" offer.
I'm still unsure about keywords that target something else, such as the keyword "home depot...
I've not narrowed it down to a particular offer, I'm just going through the top 25 submit offers on PeerFly, as advised by Luke.
I wouldn't have said any of them were too broad, in fact they all seem pretty specific to me:
Home Depot Gift Card
Huggies Coupons
Nike Gift Card
etc...
I've just started on my first campaign, and there's a few things I'm not sure about.

1. Used 7search keyword tool to get list of related keywords for each offer
2. Removed keywords with less than xxx monthly searches
3. Removed keywords...

In the guide, the advice regarding searches in the high xxxxx etc. is in the PPC section - shouldn't this be in the SEO section?
