Hi Dannielle,
My recommendation would be to keep a fairly close focus in (each) blog, keep it focused on one area, such as a type of fashion, or a type of accessory , or event focused etc. This way you can build up a blog that can easily review similar products and keep a very focused...
here's my basic list of what to do first..and next
1 Choose your focus.
2 Selecting your Keywords.
3 Selecting your merchants and affiliate programs.
4 Designing your site and developing content.
5 Promoting your site.
6 Linking up with your merchants.
Cheers
Chris
Hi Chris,
Everything our firm uses has been developed in house and we don't deposit or use anything from any form of shared document bank.
By the way got your voice mail, not called back yet as I'm feeling half dead with a cold (great timing for Christmas.... :o )
Cheers

Hard to give much feedback without knowing the sites and merchants. They could be marketing through many different ways
- 2nd Tier PPC Systems
- Email Marketing to an opt in list
- Adware :o
- Long term Two Tier partner
- Multiple sites
- PPC through multiple landing pages...
Hi Jaime
I'd say communicate as much as you can. It is amazing how few affiliates reach out to their affiliate managers and ask for help. That is what the AM is there for, and if he/she made the decision to approve you into their affiliate program then they are also making a decision to support...
One thing to clarify here.
If you have 10 banners on one page, then EACH one of those banners will register an impression, so If one user visits 5 pages , each has 10 banners on them then you will register 50 impressions for that one visitor
The same is true of text or product links if you...
Conversely things that are in huge demand tend to have huge competition, which makes it harder to succeed in a very popular segment. Take Magazines for example. Everyone buys magazines, subscriptions are dirt cheap online and the commissions paid are between 25% and 60%. Breaking into that...
Lack of participation will work for folks who know their business and don't need help, but for new folks who need to ask questions to learn, get suggestions and feedback, well their needs can't be met through Isolation.
Also for Affiliate Managers, well we don't meet new folks and help them...
I've had mixed results from this. The PR can certainly help get some content up and running about your site and if the PR system allows you to seed it with Key Words it can work out nicely, but I've used a number of free and paid services and generally been unimpressed with the results.
I'm...

One to thing to keep in mind here is that RSS is exactly this, it syndicates your content to who ever wants to republish it. And as all the major sites and search engines use this it very much supports the fact that duplicate content is less of an issue than some folks like to make out.
Hi Lina
Thanks for the post about the APB site. As you mentioned it is free for merchants and affiliates alike, and makes for an easy location to find bonuses across areas of the business

Hi Greg,
Great to see you here!
Please do feel free to reach out to any of the AMWSO Managers to get their feedback and thoughts, that's what they are there for. We have a fair selection of health and fitness programs, including Gaiam, Billy Blanks, The Firm, Denise Austin, Sonoma Diet, South...
Hi PB,
That about covered everyone. Thanks for the very kind feedback, it's good to see everyone is doing their job to help our partners :)

Hi Linda
Sorry to dissapoint Linda, we had issues with the high protein basket, customs said it'd take way too long to clear and by then some of the "protein" might have given birth, which, while a good thing in many respects, can reduce the all round crunchiness :D
That said, I have a...
