Comic Sans isn't a web font - (its a horrid font but thats besides the point!) For web you should be using verdana, tahoma, arial.
I can live with the beveled background, but you might also want to change the font colour as well as font face :)
I dont like the idea of messing around with how the internet works - dictating who can or can't link to what. I'm not messing with my links - I dont see the point!
It also helps to make friends with other blogs too - Rather than linking willy nilly to someone try making friends with them and their more likely to return the favour.
its probably a colour profile image but its also a case of the image repeating itself - if you set it to not repeat it should at least eliminate that problem! if not the colour matching issue.
its too premade - it looks like a template you've downloaded and adapted for your own use.
I'm not a fan of white text on black for commercial websites, it never looks good.
edit tables!?!?!?!?!!?!?1
I'd maybe think about having a whole rat on there rather than half of one :P
Perhaps bring the header right up to the top as the headersbg image and the pages background image dont sit quite right as they are.
I'd also consider making the page a tad wider (900px?) to bring the content up...
I'd suggest standardising all your form elements - the drop down at the top needn't be as bezelled as it is. and the scrolly box thingy underneath the form needn't be a scrolly box thingy really.
the search at the top and the dock style navigation looks good but it just screams"apple.com" at me!
Someone said something interesting about it on the news last night.
noone says "oh just windows live search it" google rolls off the tongue so nicely!
It seems to me that m$ are trying to catch up with google in becoming social.
Be interesting to see if it works!! I know I wont be using it!
