    You can have a banner at the top and at the end of the first post. It can "steal" the readers eyes and probably click on them because the contents of the post will definitely correspond to the ads that appear if you did the optimization of that page perfectly. :)

    You should not click on your own ads. If you found something interests you, just copy the url or take the domain and type it on :pyour browser. Don't let Google take a chance of banning your account.

    If this comes out, it should be a great resource. Having other ads from different categories that appears on your site is a pain. Surfers came because of one thing in mind and if they see other ads on the sites, of course they wouldn't click on that. :rolleyes:

    Playing by the rules can always give better results rather that hooking people to click those ads. Having great contents on your site can let people come back for more and even if they don't click those ads, you can still have them the next day because they are interested on your contents.

    Google said to not mislead your viewers. And also said that you should blend you ads on your contents which is the exact reciprocal. I say, it is ok to place it there as I have done it and it works fine. No Google warnings though.

    The large rectangle at the top of the fold is a big earner. Even if you place it and mold it inside the article, it comes out as a part of it giving the reader an impression of it as gateways to other pages of the site itself.

    I have one... Having PP at your footer will abide by this policy. If you are a serious adsense publisher, having this can let you take good care of your adsense account because the adsense sites are closely monitored. :D;)
