Is it ever! I very literally have thousands of unread emails in several accounts.

I've started unsubscribing to newsletters to cut down on this onslaught.

Just thought of something:

I have my own email server and it keeps archives of news letters in text form. I could code a data search program to locate the relevant keywords /key phrases and reconstitute the extract into new newsletters -- is that what we call 'curating content'
