I have a product that I would like to recruit affiliates to promote and sell.

What is the best way for me to find them??

I thought a forum like this might help me.

I would suggest using social media to recruit passionate and quality affiliate marketers. There are some great Affiliate Groups on LinkedIn and Facebook. I have yet to look into Google +, but you could check their too. And before getting started, really take some time into creating a pitch and even putting together some Sales Tools that will assist your potential affiliate marketers. Also there are Affiliate Programs (like Clickbank) that can help you. You can list your product on there, and promote it that way. Hope this helps

You should consider joining one affiliate network.
Try to find out some niche web-sites that cover the topic of your products. Then contact webmasters and offer them your proposition.
I receive many offers in my e-mail box, coming from companies offering their affiliate programs. They are active and search for new affiliates via many channels.
You can also set-up special fan-pages at social media, just focused on contacting with potential affilaites. Cheers!
