Twitter vs Amazon?

What's the latest on Amazon's 'Share on Twitter' Button on my affiliate toolbar? This Post makes it sound like were irreconcilable differences in 2009. I'm guessing a lot might have happened since then! I'm just having trouble finding the answer here.

My question is this: "When I use the 'share on twitter' button on my Amazon affiliates toolbar to automatically place a shortened URL in a tweet, does it contain my affiliates ID?"

Have Amazon and Twitter kissed and made up yet?

Alternatively, is there another way of achieving the same thing - a short URL for tweets that contains my Amazon ID?

I guess it's needless to say, I couldn't find the answer on the Amazon affiliates website. So maybe I shouldn't hold out too many hopes!

Thanks, in anticipation

If you click the link you made with the Share on Twitter button, you'll notice that your affiliate ID is indeed included. Makes it really nice and easy.

i agree i dont see very many people buying something for a link on twitter. kinda of goes against the twitter business model
