Push Subscriptions on Tight Budget - Follow Along Contest

Hello everyone!
Unfortunately I only noticed this contest this afternoon. Let's blame everything on the lack of time and my inattention.
I know that I am late, but better late than never. :p

The funny thing is that the similar campaign that I am currently testing already exists in this contest by one of the participants - wes888. :)

I've been sending traffic to Evadav push subscriptions for a week now, but with a different ad network and slightly different tactics.

Traffic Network: ByMyAds
Affiliate Network: Evadav
Country: Various countries
Tracker: I'm not using tracker in this campaign.

Pop-to-push tactic is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to get started in affiliate marketing.
And that's why I periodically test new countries on such offers in order to understand traffic volume and how well different countries convert.

I'll buy adult popunder traffic. It's pretty easy for user to subscribe to adult landing when he surf porn sites, so CR can be up to 30% in some countries and ad networks.

Evadav has only 2 options: RevShare and CPA. For a longer period of time, RevShare is more profitable, but for quick money and fast data, I always take CPA.

I found an ad network with a minimum top-up of 15$ and came up with a simple plan: test all countries with minimum bid, giving them at least 1 day and optimize zones that don't convert.

In order not to lose even the minimum budget and understand when to turn off the zone, it is enough to do simple math.
Let's take Thailand as an example. It's CPA, so I look at CPA rates for this country: Thailand - 0.0114.

Than I'll check minimum CPC rate at ad network:

upload_2021-3-31_21-17-25.png

That means that in order to have at least 100% ROI, the average CR for a zone must be more than 2%. But at the minimum price, I will not be able to buy out a lot of traffic per day. :(

An important role in the choice of this ad network was played by the existence of automatic rules in their arsenal, it helps a lot when you on a tight budget.

There will be many zones, and there will be a lot of bots, but knowing what CR is needed to be in positive ROI, I can easily buy 50-100 clicks for each zone with autorules, and then just remove bad zones and make black list or select zones that give a lot traffic and convert well and create white list.

upload_2021-3-31_21-33-55.png

It's enough for me to know that there was at least 1 conversion from at least 50 clicks. If this does not happen, I delete the zone. This is a huge budget savings.

Besides, I always split the landing pages, because you never know which landing will perform well in a particular country.

It is very easy to do this in EvaDav. You need to create streams and widgets with different landings inside the steam. You'll get smartlink with all the landings.

I usually use Bemob tracker, but not in the case of pop traffic, since a Bemob is free only up to 100k actions, pop traffic always has large volumes.
But due to the fact that the flow is very simple, all I need to keep track of are zones, so I just send macros from ad network to tokens inside EvaDav.

upload_2021-3-31_21-47-19.png

And choose the right stream and Subid.

Over the past week, I have tested the following countries: US, GB, AU, AT, CA, NZ, TH, KZ, UZ, RU, QA, RS, TW, IL, SG, CH, CZ, KR, HR, FR.

As expected, tier 1 countries - the US and GB - worked best, but there are good results in other, less popular countries like Thailand, Qatar, Uzbekistan.

I almost forgot about the most interesting part - profit. I have already found several countries that will consistently bring me profit, but still had to spend a little on tests.
Spent: 23.96
Earned: 33.21

Even if it's too late to get into the contest, I will be testing this campaign for at least a few more weeks, so feel free to ask any questions. o_O

Good luck with your campaign! It'll be interesting to see how it works with ByMyAds, I wasn't aware of that ad network before.

Hello everyone, if we are ready to help in any way we can

Hello @Sheenue, thanks for starting this thread...
It is clear you already understand what you are doing...
I am not at your level yet but I hope I will get better at this... My questions will probably be even off compared to where your focus is...
What is your main purpose of this campaign? Just looking for countries that convert for your chosen vertical so you can target them later with other campaigns?
How did you select your offer? International - English only? (to avoid translating your Landing pages every time you go to another country) - What kind of offer?
As example you state you won't be able to buy much traffic for Thailand, what is your allocated budget to test this country? (knowing a 1%CR gives you a break-even)
Also you delete a zone after 50 non-converting clicks. Is this a calculated number?
(1 conversion on 50 clicks equals the 2% CR you require for 100% ROI)
My brains are hurting from what I'm trying to learn here

Hey there @GriD :)

Yep, the main purpose to test a new ad network (and not to waste much money on the way), I never tried this one before so first I need to know the quality of traffic.
And you're right, testing countries with certain settings (for example adult and mainstream source types) to know what offers will be better to test later.

upload_2021-4-1_15-25-11.png

So this ad network has a lot of adult traffic and not that much of mainstream. I have a good sweepstake offers for mainstream traffic running on other ad networks, so this small tests show me that I can't scale those offers here.

How did you select your offer? International - English only? (to avoid translating your Landing pages every time you go to another country) - What kind of offer?
If you mean EvaDav, they have all landings translated to the most popular languages.

upload_2021-4-1_15-29-57.png

As for selection - I just look at CPA rates and traffic volume for countries with high payout.

In most cases ad networks will not sell you much traffic on minumum bid  But you can test with that bid and make some conclusions. Let's take Thailand as an example:

upload_2021-4-1_15-38-39.png

I run TH campaign on 28th with autorules (100clicks -> stop zone). 5k clicks are pretty good volume for min bid, but then I checked zones:

upload_2021-4-1_15-47-17.png

There're too many zones for black list, so I've made a white list.
In result I can buy 100-300 good quality clicks everyday and make some small profit.

So it was a minimum bid 0.0001 for TH pop. Math is pretty simple:
My payout for TH 0.0114$
I buy 1000 clicks for 0.1$ (0.0001x1000)
1% from 1000 - 10 conversions.
10 conversions - 0.114 (0.0114x10) in payout.
Round the number for easy understanding 0.114 = 0.1, I'm break-even.

I can buy a lot more traffic (maybe even with better zones) if I increase the bid, but I need different CR to be break-even and even more to make some profit.
For example if I'll buy TH for 0.0005 CPC (it's 0.5$ for 1k clicks) I'll need 5% CR to be break-even and 10% CR to double my money. And I don't want to do that before I filter out bad zones on minimum bid.

My brains are hurting from what I'm trying to learn here

Hope it make sense for you o_O

You want a higher prices payout
That's true, but for high payout offers I need to spend more budget to test. I'm a simple man, I want to spend less, find good\bad zones and only after that I'll test different offers.

My tactic is pretty simple: If it's not convert with small payout and the easiest flow ever, it'll never make me profit with higher payout offers.

Why are you not using a tracker?
I'm not using tracker only for such campaigns. You need tracker when you trying to make big bucks, as for testing I prefer speed and ease.

Also I wanna show that you don't need tracker to test things on small budget.
Yeah, you can use free trackers like bemob, but it's 100k actions only and pop traffic has large volumes, especially in tier3 countries.

So you think better traffic (higher bid) from those same places will convert at a higher payout
I'm not saying you can find magic zones on low bid and use it with high payout offers. Nah, it's not working like this, I know that and got your point.

But some new ad networks pretty often uses shady methods to sell you "dead" traffic, like bots, autoclicks etc.
Or it can be some webmaster that uses this methods.
So it's not that smart to test high payout offers on new ad network especially if you have a small budget (who wants to use big budget to test new ad network?)

My point is if you have adult traffic on zone, where people clicks on porn videos, they convert with your push-porn landing with the easiest flow it's pretty obvious that you should try this zone\geo\campaign with a little higher payout offers, like wap\sms\ivr\1click\2click adult offers with simple flow.

If zone don't convert with push-subs flow, it's not the best idea in spending money trying higher payout offers with more difficult flow. I can spent more to test another settings (for example you can test file\music download langings to know more about traffic on certain ad network).

So you think better traffic (higher bid) from those same places will convert at a higher payout? Maybe, try it with some favored locations('zones') and see.

Hello there. Just a quick update.
So I've tested all tier1 countries and some tier2-3.
It seems like US working pretty good, but no luck with different countries yet.
upload_2021-4-5_12-58-52.png

I found about 15 great zones with >5% CR for US, so I'll start testing different adult offers. But I'll talk with aff networks managers first, dunno what hot right now. iMonetizeit said I should try cam offers for US, like bonga, stripchat etc.

Small conclusion: US is the best country in this ad network (as always), 19mln traffic volume, not that expensive, but pretty crowded with other affiliates.

Last week:
Spent: 25.99
Earned: 59.71

upload_2021-4-5_13-5-4.png

US spent: 14.25
US earned: 49.46

Wow, in the green, congrats!

Thanks, green here, red with another campaign, it's part of the game, still searching for my xxxx$ per day campaign

I admit to being confused about the zeros in your tracking stats - impressions and CTR.

It's popunder format - all impressions are clicks. Some of the ad networks show it as impressions without clicks, some vice versa. And CTR is alwais 100% :)

Quick update:
I'm testing few great pin submit offers for adult traffic with that ad network, wll share results later this week.
Also found more countries last week with 100% ROI and asked Evadav manager what ad network to test.

Manager advised: Clickadu and Adsterra, US IN BR.
So I increased traffic volume and asked for bump. They give me 10% more.

Small conclusion: You can get great profit even with small payouts.

Stats for push subs with all ad networks and countries:

Ok I am absolutely boggled by the complexity. but ill try my best to use my small brain to understand this.
Straight from the Top.

You start with running ads from Bymyads to your website. while adding the Js code to the body of your website.
Do you have a functional website as in is there content on the website or is it just an empty page with stock information etc?

Hey there. It's not that hard actually ;)
I'm not using website, Evadav and other pushsubs networks has different options, you can add JS code to your own website (and you'll have more options for trafficback for example) or you can just use direct linking to their LPs. When you create stream -> widget on Eva it would be somethng like that

So it's your choise to use your own preland with JS code and add some more options for user (TB or something else) or just use direct link. Btw I think you can ask managers to add your own trafficback to their LPs, I've never use it, but I read about it on zorbasmedia.

Some networks are paying like $0.20 per push sub in the USA. What's the payout you're getting on evadav?

Yep, it depends on your traffic quality and volume. I have 4 times less, but it's cheap adult traffic and not my main profit source, so I'm good with that. For example I can get 0.1$ on propeller, but they need more volume and only mainstream traffic.
