Whats Better- SEO or PPC?
I think both organic seo and pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns have their respective places of importance. PPC (Pay Per Click) is like purchasing visitors or “clicks” from a search engine, this is called “pay-per-click” (PPC) search engine advertising (or PPCSE). Its an easy and quick way to get top on listing. Let’s first quickly see what organic seo and pay-per-click mean.
What is Organic SEO?
“Organic” or “Natural” search engine optimization (SEO) is accomplished by optimizing your web pages and by increasing your “link popularity”. Organic SEO also known as natural SEO fetches you higher search engine rankings without paying for the placement. “Organic” or “Natural” search engine optimization (SEO). Generally speaking, organic SEO consists of optimizing your web pages to enhance their position in the naturally occurring search results.s Natural search engine optimization usually gives you a much higher return on investment than pay per click because maximum number of users click only on non sponsered links.
Organic SEO takes lots of effort and it often takes months to show some tangible results. You can achieve natural SEO by

 • Getting quality inbound links
 • Creating relevant content
 • Optimizing Tags.
All these points have been covered in detail in various posts on this blog.
What is Pay-per-click?
Pay-Per-Click Search Engine Advertising allows you to quickly get top search engine placement by “bidding” (paying) for keywords related to your product or service. The biggest benefit of pay per click is the fact that it will provide you with an immediate boost of qualified visitors, lead and sales giving you fast results within just hours or days.
Pay-per-click programs get you visibility on the search engines according to the bid you are ready to place per click. By using PPC you can start getting quality clicks from the search engines within fifteen minutes of activating your website.
What to use - SEO or PPC?
It’s a question most, if not all; businesses will eventually have to ask themselves in the course of developing their Internet marketing strategies. Which alternative offers the best return on investment? Which one is more easily managed?
It should be a mixture of both the methods. As a short term strategy pay per click gives you the clear advantage over SEO. It’s better to use your PPC campaign in the beginning so that your online presence gets relevant traffic from day one. But, the disadvantage is the cost involved. You should target the least competitive expressions and start getting traffic for them. In the mean time you can continue your organic SEO efforts. When you feel you are getting good traffic due to organic SEO, you can stop bidding for your keywords.

Yes, that post's appearing all over the place... anyhoo, a brand new site needs to budget for both short and possibly long-term PPC and definitely permanent organic SEO. You'll need the PPC to bring in traffic for the first few months at the very least till organic kicks in, if it ever does, of course... and you may want to keep it on after that as if you can get them both synchronsied properly you can get not twice the clicks but four times as many. It's a pricey business having a commercial web site these days, anyone who doesn't want to face that shouldn't be here, IMHO.

Organic seo is overwhelming compared to ppc.

Did you know that people looking to buy (oci) are 7, yes & times more likely to buy from an organic listing compared to an advert?

Definitely better to put the work in, and if you know what you are doing its easy provided the market exists - and you can test that with an affiliate program after you have done good market research.

why go for PPC? when you can do SEO right away, building links and promoting will be a good start for it... and if the owner have the budget, then he or she should hire SEO not do PPC first :(

I think some online business need to go for PPC because they want to boost their sales for just a short period of time or maybe their offered services or products are just seasonal... Choosing between PPC and SEO will mainly depend on their targets, goals or objectives..

PPC good for getting bursts of traffic, of boosting a new site, in the long run SEO rules still

as i know in PPC they are paid to click the links from the website that use them, how they can increase their sales?

In my view SEO is better than PPC because we get website ranking or organic traffic from SEO and from PPC we get only traffic...........

Organic SEO is more safe and free (no payment involve) since we know that PPC involves money. PPC also is risky when you targeted the wrong kw and you don't get it right. :D

Also many users trust more organic results than ads. SEO can get much better results on the long run.

did i forgot to mention that and it's free? :p

PPC and SEO both have its place of its own. If your site is deals with come seasonal business then PPC would be a better option. If you want to do business for a longer period of time then SEO is the best choice. SEO is a kind "Slow and steady wins the Race"

Hope you all do your business in a great style.

SEO id better than PPc i think

I think PPC is very costly & mind calculation Technique. For a new website is is good but only if you have lot of money.otherwise comapny goes bankruptcy. So do SEO its a smooth & definite result oriented technique. :kneeled::kneeled:

Nice...
Thanks, I also agree with this that PPC takes less time but it pays more by just posting your site on every search, and the fact that you need to have good conversions on every click that youmade.
