I suggest the same thing. Those mail lists sold to thousands of spammer suck. You can even find some of them for free.

When purchasing a list you are most likely not going to get people interested in your niche and if they are not interested in your niche why would they want to buy your product? You can learn how to build a list yourself and then you can be confident that you have a targeted email list.

There are tons of places where you can purchase email lists but it's better to build your own if you have time. Or you can ask around and see if people will sell you their lists. You can also rent lists. Just do some research and searches and you will find what you are looking for. What kind of list do you need? What are you promoting? I know a few legit places but most of them have junk emails.
