As we look back at what has happened in 2011 in the internet marketing world, it is clear that Google Panda is one of the biggest stories.

Many online businesses get the majority of their traffic from Google, and this Google traffic converts, so it is a lifeline for many. And with Google Panda, SEO has changed ? and it has sent shock waves through online webmaster communities.

The key takeaway from Panda is that Google is favoring authority.
The biggest winners from each Panda update continue to be established brands. The losers from Panda are those that try to automate content in bulk or don?t add definitive value?

If you are small ? you can no longer compete with the big boys on a broad scale. If you own a shopping mall website, Amazon will outrank. If you publish sports stories, ESPN.com will out rank you. That?s the reality we now face.

Just provide real and true content and fair optimization and promotion and we shouldn't be worried about Panda. I personally think that Panda was the first thing by Google to cleanse the net

Only black seo fans need to worry about panda, because, for the most part, panda doens't affect white hat seo in a big way, just small updates here and there.

That's really not true. A lot of sites with no black hat SEO whatsoever were affected by the various Panda updates.

The best way to deal with Panda = Give it more Bamboo

That simply means,
1- Make sure your sites is user friendly and easy to navigate
2- Create informative and truly useful contnet

As said above, provide useful original content and all is well :D
If your not doing this already then your missing out on a lot of money.

I know quite a few site owners that are legit and only use common whitehat practices that were hit by the Google panda update. The update did crack down, but its also impimenting google freshness so dated content ranks lower.
