You know what is the first thing that you need to know about bloggers?
No, it wasn?t they love to get comments from their blog readers!
If you are a first time commentator there is a good chance the blogger will check out your blog, this is mainly due to them wanting to know who is commenting, and after all if you took the time to post a comment the least they could do is have the courtesy to click your name.
This is especially true if the blog is dofollow, after all bloggers don't want Google to think they are linking to porn or anything, so they usually moderate their comments strictly.
There are two potential outcomes from this:
1.The blogger clicks your name which is +1 to your traffic count, he or she then hastily leaves as your website lacks what he is looking for, not very impressive eh?

The above techniques all revolve around one thing, high quality content, and to be honest without high quality content you?re not going to grow your blog at the speed you are hoping. After you gain some traction in the blogosphere you will start to realise that your readers will start promoting your content for you which takes some of the work off you.
