Google Sitemap and Yahoo Site Explorer - Backlinks

Can anyone please show me How to check backlinks using Google Sitemap and Yahoo Site Explorer?

In Google, I saw External links, Internal links, sitelinks.
In Yahoo, there is Inline links.

Where is the backlinks?
