I don't really game nearly as much these days as I did when I was younger. I guess I'm just too focused on other stuff these days (like making that bank) but when I was younger I used to love the shit out of video games and every now and then I'll play some of the games that I grew up playing for nostaligas sake.
I actually kind of prefer the older games to the modern games. They weren't insanely realistic, they didn't have the best graphics and many of them seemed to be harder but damn they were fun!
So anyway I thought I'd shares some of my favourites...
Donkey Kong Country (SNES)

Oh my gawd I loved this game. All of them. The Donkey Kong games were so badass and had such good graphics for their day.
Zombies Ate My Neighbors (SNES/Genesis)

This game was fucking addictive and one of the best co-op multiplayer games I've ever played. It was also hard as shit.
Sonic (All of them/SEGA)

How could you not love Sonic? You couldn't.
Goldeneye 007 (Nintendo 64)

Awwwww yeah. This game blew my mind when I first played it with my friends and discovered the "proximity mine".
Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Nintendo 64)

I spent so many hours playing this game (and the sequal). I'd almost be tempted to buy a Wii to play the new Zelda games because I loved this game so much but it seems like it would be kind of pointless buying a console for just one game and plus it would eat away at my productivity.
So yeah. That's my childhood in a nutshell. What old school games did you love?
