Don?t Outsource Your Content Overseas!

There are plenty of good reasons to outsource your content writing and marketing to an SEO firm. For instance, you may not have the time or writing skills to fully invest in a managing a content marketing campaign. Since content marketing is one of the fundamental elements of inbound marketing , outsourcing it to a reputable SEO company makes sense. But when looking to outsource your content marketing, or any other part of your SEO, keep it in the U.S!

The great thing about working with an SEO firm is that they don?t have to be local. The Internet is everywhere, and nothing in SEO is so time sensitive that working with an SEO company in a different time zone could become a serious issue. If you work in Chicago, but find a great SEO agency in Portland, by all means hire them! Don?t let location keep you from working with the right SEO company.

That being said, you want to keep your SEO and content marketing within US borders.

I think outsources is fine if you pay your workers a reasonable amount. The cost of living is cheaper is poorer countries so it is fair to pay less. However, there is nothing worse than having workers work 16 hour shifts just to feed their families. I think the best thing to do is find a balance, so you do them a favour and save yourself money at the same time. Of course if you outsource for peanuts then only expect peanuts in return because you deserve nothing more.
 
Read the rest of the article linked above. One of his points is that you don't just want/need content - you need well-written content, and that outsourcing to a non-English country may not give you well-written content.
 
That is right Minstrel. This is largely because most of the well established site and places where you would want to use your content is based in U.S and when they are reviewing the content written by a non-english speaking country, there is a high chance that the article is not going to be approved.

Apart from also using this content for submission to well established site, your site will not convert as your counterpart having a good english content.

What most do not realize as minstrel stated is the slight difference in even the English language. Here is an example. The word "vapor" here is spelled as I just typed it, but in the UK, it is commonly spelled "vapour" and you can bet your bottom dollar that Google knows the difference. Next is that your target audience, the American people also know the difference and are likely to bounce.

You have to understand that the people who write the algos for Google are not stupid people, and likely cover factors that we would never come across unless it is brought to our attention by someone like Matt Cutts.
