I found a nice list of blog directories at Website Magazine today, unfortunately I don't have enough posts to leave links yet. I'll add a tab on my blog (see bio) so you can access it there- and no, there will be no opt-in to see it.

bigfish, links are fine as long as they are to authority sites and not your own site. Even though you don't have permission to post links yet you can just post the URL without the http://www, so you know for next time.

Same as article directories basically. Submitting your blogs to directories and getting them listed will help you build backlinks into your blogs. Try to use the ones with better PR (page rank).

Awesome, I improved my blog ranking quite rapidly using top blog directories. I am going to take a look at this list for sure.
