I hope that the PR update is soon, i have my website and i am interested to see whether or not my SEO work is paying off.

The sooner the better, although i think that it should be done more often.

PR updates frequently and at random times. but on regular basis, PR updates after 3-4months. my site's PR was updated on September, so I think the next PR update would be on December?...

No one can predict about Google Update.
As big "G" is next to impossible, so no body can assume about PR updation....It sometimes happens 3 month or 4 months or 2 months....
