Hi,
I've started a travel site and I'd like some suggestions how to affiliate myself with various merchants in the locations that I recommend to people(B&B's, lodges,etc.)

Hi Paul,

You could join IAN.com who has several affiliate programs including
Hotels.com, TravelNow, CondoSaver and others.

Does that sound like it might be a good fit for you?

Also join one of the networks like Commission Junction and pick up
some products like Luggage and travel accessories.

I have 2 travel-related sites.

Adsense is a given. I generate $700-$1000 per month from Adsense on just one of my sites.

Trip Advisor is terrific for me, but they're still not taking new affiliates...not sure why. Check in every once is a while to see if things change.

Hotels Combined is another money-maker for me.

You can try Priceline, Travelocity, and Expedia to see which work the best on your site.

Just a few suggestions.

I'd say you just focus to what you are targeting
