Who gets the commission if two affiliate Referrals

Hello everyone,

I just want to be sure: what happen in case I refer someone to buy a product, but he prefers to read a review before, and this review refers him again to
the product website (by new affiliate link...) and he made a purchase immediately.

who get the commission? me because I refer first? or the second affiliate?
to keep the simple, let say my cookie is still valid.

It will all depend on how the Affiliate Program is setup - the most common settings used are "Credit first referrer" and "Credit most recent referrer" in the case of "Credit first referrer" you will receive the commission providing your cookie is still valid. If this is set to "Credit most-recent or last" unfortunately, you will not receive the commission.

This will all be down to how the company wish to credit their referrals - in the case of SKU Feeds, we credit the first referrer providing the tracking cookie is still valid.

I recommend contacting the affiliate program provider to find out how they track/credit the referrals.
