Where do you buy domains?

I use GoDaddy and use a few coupons which get sent by email to me which is pretty useful to knock off a few bucks.

A couple years ago:

He was permitted to be shooting them, but animal activists obviously freaked out. And because Americans especially don't tend to think of elephants as being an animal you hunt, it caused a lot of harm to the brand.

I've always bought them with GoDaddy. I don't really know why I chose them to begin with but it stuck with me and I've been using them ever since. I think I will be giving Namecheap a try the next time I need a domain though, as I'm hearing a lot about them and most people I know switched to them from GoDaddy.

I like GoDaddy. They always have the lowest prices and they accept PayPal. It's a sham,e that their offers and coupons are credit card only though, I am saving mobney at the moment for a big trip and $10 is not something that I am going to spend on a domain when I can get it for $1.99 with a credit card. I guess I'll have to get a Pre-Paid MasterCard.

I have always bought my domains from GoDaddy. I have looked elsewhere, but when it comes to purchasing I have always ended up buying from GoDaddy. I also like that they always have a few coupons online so I never pay full price for my domains.

NameCheap is good and cheap. Rat Hosting Solutions are also selling good domains in good prices. They are very trustworthy.

I actually use a less known service, Dynadot, it lets me use my paypal balance rather than a forced credit card. I like to be prudent that way and if there are others who don't fancy using credit cards to pay for their domains, I highly recommend them. Their interface is sleek and easy to navigate, and customer support is top notch. I'll also use GoDaddy if they have good deals on bulk domains.

namecheap its great for cheap domains not only is it good for that its also got a great marketplace which basically allows you to sell your domains fast and easy!

I recommend namecheap. Their staff is very responsive and helpful, and they also have coupon codes available occosionally. Godaddy may be cheaper, but miss your reneval once and they will charge you an unreasonable amount to get your domain back. Not to mention their leader shot an elephant (seriously).

It really depends. I'll grab a domain from anywhere if they're having a sale and offering free privacy protection. Most of my domains are at Namecheap, though.

Namecheap, I refuse to use GD for the SOPa fiasco and because the CEO shot a baby elephant for fun.

Wow I didn't know they where supporting SOPA and that the CEO shot an elephant. That is awful! I have three domains with them. I'll definitely look for other options to transfer my domains to.

I used to buy domain names from Godaddy, but now I purchase from Namecheap.

Both are really good companies though.

My first domain name was from Wix for something like 12 bucks, and all that because I had a free domain on that site and one day decided to go premium without looking anywhere else... I learned by my mistake and now only use the cheaper ones, such as Namecheap and GoDaddy.

I have always purchased the bulk of my domains from Namecheap. I've found Namecheap to be a very honest domain seller! I say so, because I had once purchased a domain from the famous domain seller that always offers huge discounts. But when I purchased a domain some months ago from that other site (I do not wish to disclose the name of that site, though I would say that it is very famous), I had a very bad experience, and at every step of the purchase process then, I almost thought of backing out and leaving that site. It was a horrible experience and the site wanted me to purchase a lot of useless features along with the domain. I have never experienced such unprofessional response from namecheap.
