Where can i find good in house affiliate program like art.com?

i'm looking for affiliates that have their own in house affiliate program and do not use 3rd parties like google network, cj or linkshare.

The best way I have found, is just by looking at sites that interest me on my hobbies.
I happen to be very into Aquariums, so whenever I find a retailer online that is in the niche, provides good service/quality items, I check if they have the little "affiliate" link.

If you are looking for merchants in a specific niche, then I would suggest just searching for companies on google... go to the 5th or later page (the top ranked don't do as well for me personally), and start digging through the results. See if you like their conversion setup etc, and chat with them.

Be careful though. While you can get lost commissions from networks like CJ, they are reputable, and in it for the long haul. The direct to merchants may not always be operating on the "up and up".
