My best advise would be: use pinterest to its max is to pin from the website or sharing via your website url than uploading it manually to pinterest. I believe also that Google is so good that it knows what your content really is via the websites where your image was embedded
When uploading, leave behind a backlink to your page from time to time. Then be patient and followers will come to your board and therefore to your page.
